about
Sam Pavich is a writer and visual artist who identifies as a forever Theatre Kid. Most recently she was the Showrunner's Assistant on STAR TREK: DISCOVERY for Paramount + and previously was the Showrunner's Assistant on 4400 for The CW. In July of 2026 she was one of eight participants selected for New York Stage and Film’s Filmmakers Workshop, where her horror feature, HONEYCOMB was read by Broadway and off-Broadway actors and workshopped by a team of leading industry writers and showrunners.
Her feature, TAKE MY HAND, was a Finalist in both the ScreenCraft and Slamdance screenplay competitions and a Semifinalist in the 2023 Atlanta Film Festival. Her original pilot, BILLY SHAKES, an adult animated comedy about the life and times of a struggling writer known as William Shakespeare, is currently in development. At the moment, she is also working on a horror-comedy pilot that explores her childhood fear of Muppets and several horror features centering themes of feminine rage, trauma and mental health.
Sam hails from the Midwest, but prides herself on having lived in almost every part of the country at some point or another (except for the Pacific Northwest, but the rain and cloudy weather there would really vibe with her moody aesthetic). She received her degree in acting and costume design from the University of Texas and enjoys writing in a variety of genres, but these days she gravitates toward dark comedy and grounded horror.
She is repped for Literary Management at Eleve Entertainment and is available for staffing.
